While it has already started selling its newly released Android-powered smartphone, the Nokia X, through several retailers in Nigeria, including Jumia and Konga, Nokia is set to officially launch the device into the Nigerian market today. The Nokia X is a budget Android dual-SIM device that boasts a 4-inch capacitive display and powered by a 1Ghz dual core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, running Android 4.1.2 (Jelly Bean), but with a meagre RAM of 512MB. It also comes with a rear camera of 3MP, but without a front-facing camera and although it packs up to 32GB MicroSD storage, it comes up short with a 1500mAh battery. The device is currently selling for less than 20,000 naira on leading online retailers.
